Why do they call it love when it means Cuffing Season?

We all know those people who cling to winter love just as they do to their thick socks and fuzzy pajamas: in this season they couldn't live without them... but with the first ray of sun they don't even know. They will remember where they left them.

Because when the weather hits and Valentine's Day begins to appear through the door it is the signal; is the climax of the Cuffing Season.

The season in which so many people look for a crush with whom to pair up and spoon (but without commitment, eh? Don't #PutoPilles) until spring, where they free up Sundays and Sundays to say...

If I have embedded seen, I don't remember and bye bye Netflix & Chill

What is Cuffing Season? What they DIDN'T tell you in Magic English

Cuffing Season = that time of year (usually fall to spring) when temperatures drop and the desire to snuggle under blankets increases.

Later, spring by chance, either they ghost you or you change your “blanket and movie” for a new spring roll.

And this is repeated in an endless cycle with more philharmonic than in the Lion King

The big question is: why does the same thing happen EVERY TWO years?

Because of the Christmas hangover 🎄

Christmas romantic comedies (always with a happy ending), social engagements in which it seems that not being accompanied is bad manners and your brother-in-law's nougats and nougats about whether you are with someone...

Christmas is a beautiful time... for social pressure to couple up and share polka dots (and polka dots). And sometimes we fall into the trap.

- Because we feel lonelier in winter 👻

In winter, the days are shorter and grayer, we spend more time at home, our plans are reduced proportionally to the drops in thermometers...   Given the choice, since we are going to spend the winter making the burrito on the couch, why not season it with a little bit of #cebollismo?

- Because when the temperature drops, testosterone rises 🤒

We don't say it, science says it. Even though, supposedly, no one likes to make the delicious thing with their socks on...

A los tíos se nos ponen las hormonas como locas en esta época invernal: con las bajas temperaturas aumenta la testosterona y la oxitocina. Vamos, un cóctel hormonal que se sirve frío… aunque te ponga bien caliente.

- Because Valentine's Day is coming 🔜

We know that the context of love has changed, that more and more people celebrate Singles Pride more enthusiastically than Valentine's Day, but...

Valentine's Day always comes with the same social pressure as Christmas, only in a different guise: hearts, chocolates and condoms under the arm.

- Due to allergy to commitment 😷

And the flowers don't need to come out, there are allergies that accompany us every day of the year.

And maybe the Cuffing Season is just that: the placebo to “commit” without scares… and with an expiration date.

Cuffing Season: Because I'm worth it, I'm sorry... PERIOD ✊

The Cuffing Season is NOT to examine our conscience, confess sins or eliminate Tinder...

Puede ser otra excusa perfecta para ponerle nombre a algo que simplemente nos #PutoFlipa de vez en cuando y sin importar la estación…

Spoons or skewers, with more or less company, under the feather duvet or on the beach towel...

Whatever your plan is this season and as long as you don't embarrass anyone; have fun, twerk as much as you can (and want) and always keep things clear; the thick perreo and the good vibes at max level.

Let's spread love through a tube! ❤️‍🔥
