'Open journal' of karma positive points to the world...
If you're reading this, thank you because right now you're that friend who pushes you to go to the gym when you don't feel like it, gets you out of the house when you're feeling down, encourages you to approach someone when you lack the guts... or simply ignites a spark in your motivation and moves you to action.
This is our open 'diary' of commitments to ourselves and to the people who, like you, read us:
Lilili
We do not make it public for the lirili (that is, to show off or to get medals...)
Lerele
We make it public through the lerele (to force ourselves before you to do things a little better every day)
There are too many reasons. So we're selecting a few objectives and setting annual goals that we measure and let you know if we've achieved them. Like any good journal, this changes over time, so check back here from time to time if you're interested.
At Siwon, we want to leave a mark on your skin for the pleasure it brings, not on the planet for the pollution we cause.
But, however green we want to be, any beach bar like ours pollutes: manufacturing, packaging, taking the products away... we can't (yet) avoid all those emissions.
What we can do is compensate for it. That's where we've partnered with Reforestum to contribute to the planting of a forest that currently occupies 12 hectares in the Picos de Europa and reduce the impact of what we emit (the 'little forest' has captured 5.27 tons of CO2 to date).
Roughly speaking, for every €50 you spend on Siwon's stuff, we plant a tree.
We like people who don't get too hung up on what it means to be a man and who are always in explorer mode, playful and without prejudices.
That's why we support causes in favor of gender, sexual, psycho-emotional or neurodivergent equality; which make it more common every day to speak freely about emotions and get rid of little backpacks that weigh more than they contribute.
This year, we started by supporting those who are having the worst time and collaborated with the Eddy Foundation, which welcomes young victims of family violence, bullying, and LGBTphobia.
Part of the proceeds from International LGBT Pride Day go to them, and we participate in their fundraising events at Christmas and other times of the year.
